Your Guide to Inman Connect San Francisco 2013

by Joe Sesso on July 8, 2013

Inman Connect is this week in San Francisco, and it’s going to be as good, if not better, than ever. It takes place from July 10-12 at the Hilton Union Square, in San Francisco, CA. This is always one of my favorite shows, because Inman does a great job of bringing in top speakers from some of the biggest and coolest tech companies and start ups in the Bay Area (and there are a ton of them). You can still register for this event at: http://www.inman.com/connect/real-estate-connect-sf-2013/pricing/

Inman Connect #ICSF is July 10-12

1. A Different Format: In the past, Agent Reboot would be tethered to this event on a Tuesday, so that it could be on its own but also capture traffic from people who arrived early to San Francisco. This year, Agent Reboot will be on Wednesday, and is built into the Inman Connect program (although the pricing isn’t). It’s still $49, but doesn’t give you access into Inman Connect without a full conference badge (more than $1,000). It will be interesting to see the attendance of Reboot this year compared to last, as last year saw a very large crowd when done on a Tuesday. It could be a lot bigger this year.

2. New Kids on the Block: No, not the aging boy band, but the newest real estate tech start-ups. This is always my favorite part of the show, as the real estate industry learns about new technologies that can help their business. There will also be a record 25 companies in Inman’s “Start-up Alley” part of the expo hall. Be sure to check it out.

3. Can’t make it…No Problem: Just follow the Twitter hashtag #ICSF to get the latest tweets from attendees from the show. I will be sending out live tweets throughout Inman Connect and Agent Reboot. Follow me at www.twitter.com/joesesso or @joesesso on Twitter.

4. The Outstanding Speakers: This year’s lineup could be the best ever; from Budge Huskey (Coldwell Banker CEO), Josh Elman (Greylock Partners), Tamara Mendelsohn (Eventbrite), to Andy Woolley (VP of Homes.com), Ben Huh (Cheezburger Network), Morgan Brennan (senior real estate writer, Forbes) and many more industry leaders and experts, Inman as assembled an All-Star lineup of the “who’s who” of real estate.

Inman Connect San Francisco is going to be awesome. Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter or Facebook (www.facebook.com/joesesso.edutainer) to get the latest directly from this amazing conference. Watch out for my complete “post-conference” wrap up as well. See you there!
